“Well, my dad, he’s had an auto body shop forever, so being around that as a family business, and playing with Hotwheels, it was bound to happen.”
What was your first car?
“I actually shared it with my sister. It was a 1997 Acura Integra, four-door, automatic. I moved onto a salvage title Chevy [Trail] blazer. I drove that until I had enough money saved to put a down payment on this car.”
“When I was in high school, I would go in after school and help my dad in the shop. I work there full time now, and I paint cars there. I painted the mouth on and all the blue on the car with a matte agent, I love the satin look.”
“The inspiration for this is from the 2003 Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, since I’m a huge nerd and a big Star Wars fan. I can show you the replica of the ship I used as the concept. Most people say it’s got a WWII fighter jet theme.”
Before you got this car were you really involved with the car scene?
“No. Not at all. There wasn’t a car scene where I lived. After getting this car, I just wanted to get involved and meet new people and travel and check out other sweet rides.”
Even though you grew up with cars, did you have a moment where you realized how much you love cars?
“Just seeing what people can do to them to make them their own is what got me hooked. A car is like a canvas to me. A car shows a lot of someone’s personality.”
“I have countless memories with this car, whether it’s going on long drives or meets with people. I’ve met so many people just because of this car. It gets me out and about, that’s for sure.”
What’s your favorite thing about your car?
“It being really one of a kind when you take a look at it. I love the exhaust and big wing I put on it too.”
What do you think you’d be doing if you weren’t involved with cars?
“I’d be in culinary, honestly. I do like to cook, but I like cars better.”
